Industrial hemp science CBD CBC CBG and other cannabinoids can help treat depression?

Hemp For Depression
Relevant studies have shown that Cannabinoids in industrial hemp can play a therapeutic role by regulating the endocannabinoid system (ECS).
Dr. Anderson and his team collected data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention from 1990 to 2007,
Analyzing the impact of legalization of medical marijuana on suicide rates, the study shows:
"The legalization of medical marijuana is related to a 5% decrease in the overall suicide rate, an 11% decrease in the suicide rate among men aged 20 to 29, and a 9% decrease in the suicide rate among men aged 30 to 39."
Professor Li Xiaoming‘s team from Zhejiang University School of Medicine also identified candidate genes that express pleasure and disgust in the amygdala through experiments, and discovered a new neural circuit involved in the onset of depression. The results of this research are of great significance to patients with depression. Because when the patient’s negative emotions are constantly stimulated by the outside world, the amygdala called the "danger alert button" is repeatedly activated, and the negative emotions can be expressed.
More importantly, they found that artificial marijuana given by the outside world can reverse the depressive behavior caused by social pressure.
It is confirmed that marijuana can relieve symptoms of depression.
CBD For Depression
CBD (Cannabidiol) is the main cannabinoid in industrial hemp.
Extracted from female marijuana plants, it is a non-addictive component in marijuana. It has anti-spasm, anti-anxiety, anti-inflammatory and other pharmacological effects. It is widely used in many fields such as medical treatment and skin care.
Antidepressant
Clinical trials have shown that the rational use of CBD can reduce depression and greatly improve people‘s acceptance of pleasure perception. It is quite effective as an anti-anxiety agent and anti-depressant.
Compared with ordinary antidepressants, CBD can interact positively with serotonin in the human body, and does not produce the side effects of ordinary antidepressants. Maintaining a balanced level of serotonin will greatly improve people’s acceptance of pleasure perception. It is an important treatment method for patients with depression.
In 2019, a public welfare organization promoting the medical use of CBD and other cannabinoids in the United States surveyed more than 3,000 CBD users from different countries with different symptoms of depression. The report showed:
Ninety-two percent felt some relief, while 68% reported that after using CBD, the feeling of regular nervousness would be "much better."
It proved the excellent effect of CBD in alleviating panic attacks, alleviating mood swings, and eliminating restlessness, irritability and sadness.
CBC For Depression
CBC (cannabinene) is the most common cannabinoid in industrial hemp, second only to THC and CBD. It is distributed throughout the plant. In some industrial hemp plants, the content of CBC is higher than that of CBD.
Like CBD, CBC is also an inactive ingredient and has no hallucinogenic and addictive side effects.
A 1996 study found that CBC can bind to pain-sensing receptors, but it does not affect the cannabinoid receptors in the brain. So this is why even if it can cure severe pain, it won‘t make you feel excited.
Antidepressant
Researchers from the University of Mississippi conducted a tail hanging experiment for CBC‘s anti-depressant effect.
Hang the tail of the mouse and observe the mouse struggling to escape. If the mouse struggles more, it means that the mouse is in a better mood and the degree of depression is lower.
The results showed that mice taking CBC struggled significantly more than those taking other cannabinoids, and the number of times the mice struggled depends on the dose of CBC given to the mice.
This result confirms that CBC does have antidepressant effects.
CBG For Depression
CBG (cannabidiol) is a cannabinoid that exists in the early stage of industrial hemp growth. The content of CBG in hemp plants is very small, usually about one percent.
Antidepressant
The pharmacological effects of CBG described in the research literature include: anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory and analgesic, lowering intraocular pressure, anti-depression, stimulating appetite, protecting nerves, etc.
As early as 1975, researchers discovered that CBG is a moderate antidepressant, and CBG helps to increase brain serotonin levels.
In 2006, Richard Hemei and Richard Tayou discovered the antidepressant effect of CBG in experiments on mice.
Although CBG has not yet become mainstream like CBD, this cannabinoid has quietly demonstrated a series of attractive medical values.
CBG interacts with CB1 and CB2 cannabinoid receptors, which can inhibit the toxic effects of THC. It also shows the ability to increase endocannabinoids and helps regulate various body functions, including appetite, sleep, mood and immune system.
